To help alert asthmatics and health professionals when there is an increased risk of thunderstorm-triggered asthma, the Faculty of Science at Charles Sturt University and the Wagga Asthma and COPD Collaborative of Health Professionals have established an automated notification system where you can register to be notified by SMS and/or email on days with the appropriate high-risk conditions. These alerts typically only occur on a handful of days in Spring each year.
