The Mental Health Line is a 24-hour telephone service operating seven days a week across NSW.

If you are or someone you know is feeling mentally distressed and need to contact someone urgently, please call our AccessLine on 1800 800 944. 
If you are, or someone you know is experiencing high levels of mental distress or feeling suicidal, please go to the nearest Emergency Department as soon as possible and they will help you access our Mental Health Emergency Services (Link to subpage).

 please refer to the website for the latest list of programmes – most require you to attend your General Practitioner as point of first contact. Please request a long consultation when booking.  Your GP needs to asses and prepare a GP Mental Health plan.  https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/mental-health-care-plan
this plan and a referral form is then sent to a Central Intake at MPHN who will refer you to the most suitable programme. There services are referred to a tender organisation who may provide telephone, telehealth or in-person review.
